Finally got out for a windsurf, it's definatly been to long, got out with my Bic Techno and 7.2 Diablo at Marazion, the wind was a little too light to start just about planning but getting smoked by the kites, luckily after about 30mins the wind started to fill in and I was flying, with the onshore wind I was able to blast up and down the front from the Mount all the way down to Penzance and with more wind I was quicker than the kites, there was very little swell about just the odd bit of swell nearer the shore, the wind was still picking up when I had to leave, but it was a really good late afternoon's sailing. Only low point was the 3 small tears I found in my sail when I was de-rigging, I guess the monofilm is reaching the end of it's life, not going to be worth getting 2 panels replaced but I may see if I can get a couple more sails out of it with the aid of some duct tape.
